1. Where to travel based on your personality type
2. Krampus makes for a scary Christmas
3. Special statue in Manchester
4. Basketball player on a floor

6. Nelson Mandela Dies
-Cloze test
1. Hayao Miyazaki
2. Selfie named word of 2013
3. Beyond Beauty takes top spot
4. Paul Walker dies in fatal crash

In addition, there will be three more news articles in the reading comprehension section. You also need to prepare for a writing about a major event that occurred in 2013, and comment on it.

The following is a practice I created on a website, the teachers’ corner. After reviewing the first three articles, you can click on the crossword puzzle to test your understanding of the words.
